Other creative stuff I love to do
We recently had a repair guy out to fix our A/C (I begin to melt and whine a LOT at around 71 degrees) and as he was driving away, I noticed his van listed other things he could fix: Plumbing, electrical and more! Well dang, we NEED some plumbing help and definitely need some electrical help. I was fantasizing how great it would be to know how to do ALL those things (or have a handy husband or kid!).
Many artistic-types are the same way - creativity and art spill over into many different professions and hobbies. These traits are just not as HANDY really, as plumbing or electrical talents. *sigh*
Anyway, my artistic & creative interests have taken me into interior design - particularly kids rooms, sewing colorful hobby horse ponies for a bit, throwing half a dozen pretty great kid parties, and I've been an avid writer pretty much my entire life.
